Natural remedies against acne
One might think that if researchers are able to decode the human genome, they should be able to eradicate acne. Well no! It is up to you to face the flares that continue to jeopardize your pride long after the angst of adolescence are calmed. When a button rears its ugly little head black, white or red, you can rush to the pharmacy to buy a product over the counter. Or, use a remedy directly out of the medicine cabinet of Mother Nature.
Solutions of first resort
Creams and gels containing benzoyl peroxide is your first non-prescription solution. They act slightly irritating the skin, peeling and a cleansing pores. In addition, this substance destroys the bacteria that live in the pores, causing infection.
Alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs), including glycolic acid, strip the skin of its outer layer, helping to cleanse the pores and prevent clogging. Choose a cream, a lotion or a gel consisting of 8% glycolic acid.
Soon appears a button, apply an ice cube wrapped in plastic wrap at least twice a day, every hour if possible, do not leave it more than five minutes each time. The cold reduces redness and relieves inflammation.
Take one or two aspirins. At the rate of one or two tablets of 325 mg 4 times per day, aspirin relieves inflammation and soothes rashes. (Do not take this medication regularly after you have talked to your doctor.)
Three times a day, apply a drop of tea tree essence marks to prevent infection and speed healing. Researchers have found that this species was also effective against acne as a solution of benzoyl peroxide 5%.
To mitigate the eruptions that occur during menstruation, take one or two cups of chaste berry daily. It has been shown in studies that this plant contributes to regulate female hormones. It must, however, a few months before acting. Therefore, be patient and most importantly, do not take large amounts because you might have the opposite effect.
Apply a few drops of vinegar or lemon juice on the pimples. Both substances contain acids that help cleanse the pores.
Try this old folk remedy: Mix 1 teaspoon of nutmeg powder with 1 tablespoon of honey and apply this mixture on the button. Leave on for 20 minutes, then wash. There is no scientific evidence to suggest that it is effective, but we do know that the cons Honey have antiseptic properties.
Apply aloe gel. It was found in a study that the substance had healed 90% of the pores in five days.
Take zinc. Blood levels of zinc acne sufferers are generally low. Zinc supplements provide visible results in approximately one third of people who take it. However, as it takes high doses, or 200 to 600 mg per day, you will be followed by a physician.
It is generally believed that if we could prevent the accumulation of dirt and oil, the pores would never be obstructed. In fact, excessive cleaning pushes the sebaceous glands to increase oil production. Renounce cleaning granules, and the face cloth, which is abrasive and promotes bacterial multiplication, unless you change with every use. Preferably use disposable wipes.
Anti-blackhead solution: Dilute a teaspoon of Epsom salt and three drops of iodine tincture in half a cup of water and bring to a boil. Dip a cotton swab in the solution and apply it on the blackheads.
